Denise Irene Shrewsbury of Shenandoah Junction WV let go of her pain on May 23rd 2021. She was the beloved wife of 44 years to Oscar Shrewsbury, Momma to not just myself, Cortney Parker, my sister Lindsey Shrewsbury and my husband Tyler Parker; but also to our close friends as well as the dozens of children that walked through the doors of Trinity Treasure Kids in Shepherdstown WV. Grandmother to Ashton, Ever and the anxiously awaited Greyson Parker, whom she lovingly named before leaving us. Daughter to the late David and Audrey Morgan of Arlington VA. Sister to Barbara Painter and the late David and Darryl Morgan. State Champion Bowler of VA, lover of the mountains and laughter – and most importantly, having a little bit of coffee with her cream. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her and treasured for always by her family.
A relaxed Celebration of Life will be held at Trinity Episcopal Fellowship Hall in Shepherdstown WV on Sunday June 13th at 1:30pm. All are welcome who’s life she touched to eat, share memories and celebrate a life well lived.
