Winky was always spunky and kind to all of us. Larry Nash and I became better friends when I started visiting my daughter in Seattle. We had some fun phone calls and visits. Larry shared with me, several years before Winky was gone, that he was dating her when her dad, General George Casey, was killed in Vietnam.

Since Winky and Larry have now reacquainted, on the other side, I thought it would be a good time to share Larry’s account of the day they gathered for a tribute at the Casey’s home. When Larry went in their home, the first person he saw was Teddy Kennedy. Larry said to Winky, “LOOK! It’s Teddy Kennedy!”, Winky exclaimed, “We are REPUBLICANS”.

We were soon able to vote in the next Presidential election, and many of us had decided the party we wanted to follow as young voters.

  3. Yo, gotta say, lucky96 ain’t bad! Been giving it a whirl and the odds seem pretty decent. The site’s easy to navigate, which is a huge plus in my book. If you’re feeling lucky, why not give lucky96 a shot?
